Reduce Operating Costs

Energy Efficiency With Our Blowers

Energy Efficiency Blowers

Saving energy conserves resources and costs. That is why machine and plant manufacturers rely on our powerful blowers.

Saving energy not only conserves resources but is also good for your own balance sheet. The reliable high-tech solutions open new and more efficient application possibilities and promote independence in comparison with compressed air systems.

Thanks to their small size, Micronel blowers are suitable for decentralized installation. Placed directly close to the point of use and process reduces pressure losses due to long supply lines and saves installation effort. Dynamic control allows power to be called up as required on demand, increasing the efficiency of the application. In typical applications, the break-even time is just a few months.

With a conventional Air-Knife compressed air application and an air consumption of 22.5 m3/h and 4000 operating hours, a Micronel radial fan U100HL with a 40mm Air Knife with a power consumption of approx. 100 watts pays for itself after 6 months. (Base: €0.15 per kw/h, 8 bar compressed air network).

The steadily growing family of our industrial fans now includes the following series:

  • U51HP
  • U51DL
  • U85MX
  • U85HL
  • U100HL, U100UL
  • U100H4

We will continue to expand the U100+ series and will soon be able to offer significantly more powerful blowers.

Micronel Goes Energy Independent

Harmony between people and the environment is one of our ideals and basic principles. Wherever technically and economically sensible and possible, we strive to enter into and maintain materials, processes, technologies and trade relationships in an ecological sense. Then, for example, our highly efficient blowers with brushless motors make a significant contribution to energy efficiency in our customer applications. Resource-saving working methods are also important to us in our office and production environment. For credible implementation, we put a photovoltaic system into operation for the main building at Zürcherstrasse 51 in spring 2022.

The typical annual yield of around 110 MWh corresponds to:

  • 5 million working hours on a computer or
  • the preparation of 110 000 meals for four people each or
  • the preparation of about 7.7 million cups of coffee or
  • the production of 140 000 fans

The current Micronel electricity requirement amounts to approx. 270 MWh per year. In order to be able to cover all this one day, we will also cover the second building at Zürcherstrasse 53 with photovoltaics.

It remains our goal to continue to develop in terms of energy efficiency and resource conservation, be it in product design or in business operations.
